V-BUDDY SIGN UP

At V-Pal Connects, you will be assigned a virtual buddy who you will communicate via email for however long you like! V-buddies can conserve about any topic that does not compromise one's safety (Why? check out our privacy policy!). 

Information:

• Pen pals will be called V-buddies

Platform for Communication:

• The main platform on which our V-buddies send letters is EMAIL
• Letters can not be sent through text or any other platform (Why? Check out our PRIVACY POLICY)

Benefits:

• The program helps students practice the art of writing, increase literacy skills and build positive relationships
• The letters help develop a deeper CULTURAL AWARENESS, enhanced COMMUNICATION SKILLS, and gain COLLABORATION OPPORTUNITIES

Earning hours:

• Volunteers will earn hours according to the word count per e-letter
  • A V-buddy can only sent up to 3 letters per week

Less than 100 words → 0.5 hours

More than 100 words → 1 hour

(NOTE: Minimum of words → 50, this is to ensure we are not falsely giving volunteer hours)
